VOLUNTEER
Whether you have children that attend schools in the District, or are a community member looking to volunteer, there are countless ways to support and be involved with Hueneme ESD.
All HESD volunteers must review, complete, and submit volunteer forms prior to volunteering. The forms that need to be submitted are based on the level of volunteer service:
Level 1: Volunteers who serve less than 8 hours per month will need to submit: Volunteer Registration Authorization, Code of Conduct/Confidentiality of Student Information, and Government ID (to be used for Megan’s Law Check)
Level 2: Field trip drivers will need to submit: Volunteer Registration Authorization, Code of Conduct/Confidentiality of Student Information, TB Clearance (required by March 15th) Personal Vehicle Use Registration, and Government ID (to be used for Megan’s Law Check).
Level 3: Volunteers who serve more than 8 per month will need to submit Volunteer Registration Authorization, Code of Conduct/Confidentiality of Student Information, TB clearance (required by March 15th), and Government ID (to be used for Megan’s Law Check). Any volunteers for overnight field trips, such as outdoor school, will also need fingerprint clearance.
Intermittent student contact for classroom presentations, assemblies, and special events do not require volunteer registration or clearance.
